You can edit this website!

Imagine a website edited and maintained by German car lovers all over the world. Today we focus on showcasing vintage VW's and Porsche's. What people paid, and have invested in these cars. Useful articles are peer reviewed and edited for accuracy and quality. An easy to search directory of rare German cars and parts, what they look like, fit, with lots of pictures. An online knowledge base! You can edit this website! Please contribute.

GermanRetro (GR) is all about the appreciation of Classic German Automobiles. GR was started by Mike and Paul Palmer, aka the "Palmer Brothers". We are brothers and we have been passionate about VWs and old Porsches' since we were kids.

Our goal is to be a fun place to show off your projects and learn about classic cars. For our real jobs, we work at SigmaTrak a company that helps big companies share electronic documents with small companies using an hardware appliance. Please ask any questions about GermanRetro at GermanRetro:FAQ

We would really like the VW and Porsche community to build/edit contribute and maintain a "knowledge base" of information on all model year combinations, how-to's, tips and related services. We really feel like the Wiki format is outstanding for this. Do not know what a Wiki is? Check Out Wikipedia. More information can be found in the Help for what a Wiki is, and how to use this tool.
