What is GermanRetro?
A Virtual Showroom to display your Volkswagen or Porsche! You can have your own private website for your car, and post pictures and the history of your German ride. By documenting your vehicle you increase its value. Please start your own article for your vehicle!
GermanRetro has a KnowledgeBase written collaboratively by many of its readers. It uses a special type of website, called a wiki, that makes collaboration easy. The goal is to provide the reader with "tribal knowledge" on the best way to buy, restore and sell rare German vehicles. These cars are nothing less than rare artwork. Germanretro articles are mercilessly edited by VW and Porsche experts so you do not need to read through pages of blogs or endless forum posts to get a consensus view on the article topic
Lots of people are constantly improving GermanRetro, making many changes an hour, all of which are recorded on article histories and recent changes. Inappropriate changes are usually removed quickly, and repeat offenders can be blocked from editing. Discussion pages are the place for debate, not the main article.
How can I help?
